The Great Gatsby, is set to be released in December of this year (2012),  It is to be directed by Baz Luhrmann, director of Moulin Rouge! and William Shakespeare’s Romeo + Juliet, and will star Carey Mulligan as Daisy, Leonardo DiCaprio as Gatsby, and Toby Maguire as Nick. The film will follow Nick Carraway into New York City where he joins his cousin Daisy and her husband in a world of luxury and tragedy as Jay Gatsby, Nick’s millionaire neighbor, tries to regain the woman he always loved: Daisy.
